Contraceptive Method Use,
Four Years Before Interview

For each year relative to interview date, the share of women who reported using each method in any month of that year. Interviews were conducted January 2022 – December 2023; year labels are approximate calendar equivalents.

Percentages do not sum to 100% Each respondent is counted once per method she used in a given year. A woman who used both pill and condom appears in both rows. Percentages reflect individual method prevalence, not mutually exclusive shares.
